LOS ANGELES, CA (NEWS1130) – The LA Lakers look for their seventh win in eight starts when they host the 76ers this evening in the NBA. Steve Nash is averaging 12.3 points and 9.5 assists since returning from a broken leg.

The Lakers have won three of their last four games since the Victoria point guard returned. He missed 24 games after breaking his left fibula on Halloween in Portland.

Doctors say Nash is playing with some pain in the leg.

With the former MVP running the point, LA has been sharing the ball more. The Lakers were averaging just over 21 assists without Nash. The team is now dishing out 28.3 assists with Nash in uniform.

LA is 15-15 and have won four consecutive games at the Staples Center. They face a Philadelphia team that has lost eight of their nine on the road.

Expect Kobe Bryant to have a big game against his hometown team. Bryant has at least 27 points in 14 straight games over the 76ers.

Tip-off is at 7:30 pm.
